Judge Claudia Laird earned a Bachelor’s Degree in International Studies from Texas A&M University in three years. She was honored as a distinguished student two times, and participated in the honor’s program. She earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration jointly with a Doctor’s Degree in Jurisprudence from The University of Houston. Judge Laird has acted as in house counsel as well as working for Simonsen & Associates in general litigation. She began her service to Montgomery County as Chief Prosecutor in the civil/white collar crime division of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. Judge Laird began her service as Presiding Judge of County Court at Law Number Two on 1/1/11. Judge Laird is the presiding Administrative Judge for the County Courts at Law for 2015.
