Kati Krouse, Executive Director of Bears, ETC is having a FUNDraiser OctorBEARfest on Saturday, Oct. 6 in Montgomery to help Bears Etc. secure a property to provide permanent placement for abused and neglected bears that have been part of the exotic pet trade. Amber Gong is with the Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County. They just wrapped up their Annual Bookmark Contest with entries from K-8th grade students depicting ways to resolve conflicts peacefully. Oct 19 at Judge Hamilton’s Court will be the award ceremony on Conflict Resolution Day.
