Hurricane Season is June 1-November 30 and all residents need to be prepared. Cynthia Jamieson is the Public Information Officer for the Office of Emergency Management and Homeland Security. Her office is responsible for alerting the residents of severe weather (hurricanes, snow, ice)assistance with FEMA and any other disaster assistance. Be prepared by registering for alerts, having an emergency supply kit, or taking a Cert Class.

Jay Stittleburg is the Democrat candidate for Montgomery County Judge in the November election against Mark Keough, the Republican candidate.
