Judge Patty Maginnis (435th District Court) and Christen Arnold (Director of the Drug Court) shared information about our county Drug Court that has been changing lives of those with a felony drug charge since 1999. Montgomery County Drug Court is an opportunity for successful transformation that rehabilitates the entire person holistically with mandatory drug testing, counseling services, coping skills, and the opportunity to be a successful contributing member of the community. The Court Care Assisted Rehabilitation Experience (C.A.R.E.) Program is a combined effort of the courts, program staff, participants, and treatment providers to break the cycle of substance abuse.
