Since 1990 the Greater EMC Chamber has served the Porter, New Caney, Roman Forest, Woodbranch Village, Patton Village, Splendora, and portions of Kingwood (Lake Houston area) to promote the economic well being and quality of life of EMC. Of course the main objective is to help businesses of all sizes through networking and educational opportunities. They do that through regular monthly luncheons, annual events such as the Texas Sawmill Festival, the Business Expo, and partnerships in the community.
