Barry Katz, owner of Katz’s Deli in The Woodlands shared information about the NEW Katz’s remodel, menu, and week long celebration beginning this week. The public is encouraged to participate in the Tues/Wed celebrations while giving 50% to local charities and the BIG GRAND OPENING party on Friday, May 12 6-10pm with 70’s costume contest (CASH prizes), 70’s genre music from the 96.5 Morning Show hosts, and a fun Trivia contest. The locks will be taken off the doors during the celebration never to b locked again!

The second segment was a wrap up from the Conroe Americana Music Festival with 54 bands in 6 venues May 5-7 in Downtown Conroe. Harold Hutchison of the Conroe Visitors Bureau and Rodney Pool, President of the Conroe Downtown Area Association and coordinator of the event shared all the successes of the inaugural festival that will start planning for 2018 next month.

The Conroe Americana Music Festival is coming to Downtown Conroe May 5-7 with 54 live performances in 6 venues all for 1 ticket. Caleb Hoelscher and Mason Lankford of Folk Family Revival joined the show to share information and play a couple of tunes we can expect to hear during their performances at the event.
