Listen in to District Dynamics as Willis ISD Superintendent Tim Harkrider talks about history being made every day in the district, from the passage of the recent bond election, sports teams making historical runs through the playoffs, and teachers building students’ educational history.  His guests will include Willis High School volleyball coach Ashley Farris, and the district’s bilingual coordinator, Felicia Jackson.

Ashley Farris is in her fourth year as the head volleyball coach at Willis High School. She attended the University of Texas at Arlington on a volleyball scholarship where she set records for single season and career digs. Ashley’s 863 digs in 2006 led the nation while her 6.54 digs per set ranked fifth in the country. She was an all-state finalist during her high school days in Alvin.

 Felicia Jackson graduated from The University of Houston and completed graduate work at Stephen F. Austin University. She believes that learning is a lifelong journey and is the key that opens many doors. She has 20 years of experience which includes serving as a high school Spanish teacher, a bilingual education teacher from grades PK-5, and as an administrator.
