Ashley Church and Erin West join me to discuss the current issues facing crime labs and crime scene investigators training. Ashley and Erin co-founded Gap Science after seeing a need to address field training for crime scene investigators and supervisors. They have created training to help agencies address burnout, the mental health of crime scene personnel. Ashley and Erin created courses to assist agencies in the accreditation process. We have a great discussion on many issues facing crime scene supervisors and crime labs.
