In November of 2007 Detectives, Dan Zientek, and John Schmitt were called to the scene of a shooting in east Montgomery County, Texas. A property owner had confronted a man on his property that he believed was about to commit theft. The property owner shot and killed the man. While investigating the case it was not that cut and dry and it may have actually been premeditated murder.
