911 a day we all remember. I have guests that are doing good to make our community better. Caiden’s Hope Foundation assists parents with basic needs throughout the country when they have a baby in the neonatal unit of the hospital. Donate funds, gas cards, airfare (frequent flyer miles) lodging, and meals to assist the parents so they can be with their baby. https://www.facebook.com/CaidensHope http://www.caidenshope.org

Jackie Battle, ex football pro for the Titus NFL team is paying in forward by running a retail store, Philanthropy, with his wife Christine in The Woodlands. They are a Christian run company with 10% of all sales to specific local and overseas organizations. Currently they are hands on helping with Hurricane Harvey relief and local nonprofits, such as Compassion United in Conroe. He is a “hope dealer”. Go in their store and see the prayer wall where you can pray for someone hurting. https://www.youcaring.com/philanthropyministries-930841 http://www.philanthropyfashion.com

Melanie Bush, candidate for County Treasurer, finished the hour with information about her upcoming fundraiser on Monday, Sept 18 at Landry’s Restaurant in The Woodlands. Just the Basics Hurricane Relief Drive donated pallets of food to the Montgomery County Food Bank, and the underwear/socks was donated to Moms Helping Moms. We all win when the most qualified business people are running our local government. https://www.facebook.com/MelanieBushCampaign http://www.melaniebushcampaign.com/
