Kim Bellini parted with her teaching career in 2008 in order to start a new business with an important mission — to help students succeed in school. Bellini’s education and teaching experience provided her the necessary background and impetus to found The Woodlands branch of the brain-training franchise LearningRx. Bellini was a magna cum laude graduate of Sam Houston State University in 2000 and a teacher in the Conroe Independent School District the following eight years. Through a partnership with her mother Beth Buzbee, Bellini opened The Woodlands LearningRx in 2008. Since the opening of the branch, the company has grown steadily and is making a positive contribution to the community. Bellini is an active member of the Greater Conroe/Lake Conroe Area Chamber of Commerce and the Community Chamber of Commerce of East Montgomery County. She serves as a co-chair of the Education Committee for Magnolia Parkway Chamber. Bellini is also a founding member in the Conroe Symphony Orchestra and performs as a flutist in symphony concerts. She is the featured education columnist for Kidnnected Magazine and is often quoted often in the local media as an expert in the field of education.
