Amy received her bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University. She went to work for Extension in Hale County in 1993. She transferred to Stephens, and then Bowie County. While in Bowie, she earned her Master’s Degree at Texas A&M –Texarkana in Interdisciplinary Studies. She then went to work managing a special nutrition education project for Extension, before moving to work in Burleson County, and eventually Montgomery County. Amy is known for her creative and innovative approaches to community education and her ability to connect community partners for successful outcomes.
