Kris McBride and Sarah Tillman, both members of the Conroe Rotary shared information about the club (85 years old!) and their upcoming event, Spiritis of Texas aimed at eradicating polio in the world. Oct. 24 is World Polio Day and each Spirits of Texas ticket sold donates $5 towards the End Polio Now Campaign. Bill and Linda Gates will match each donation 2:1. Other projects include I like Me books for first graders in our local schools and scholarships.
