Pastor Chris Lake, Tree of Life Lutheran Church, is feet on the ground mucking and gutting homes doing ministry on the streets or in the homes of those hitt hardest by the disaster alongside many other local churches. You don’t meet a stranger when you are both covered in debris from the flooding. Tree of Life has a defined mission to assist everyone by inviting, inspiring and including all in the dirty work. Literally. Pastor Chris is involved in local assistance in River Plantation where he lives, then will move beyond the circle to include others in the Greater Houston area.
