Willis City Manager Hector Forestier
Hector Forestier was born and raised in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, a Master's degree in Personnel Management, and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force.
Hector has enjoyed a long career as a Civil Servant. With a career in the Air Force ranging from Budget Officer to Comptroller, Squadron Commander and Deputy Commander for Resource Management. He was stationed throughout the United States and overseas. He retired from the Air Force in 1995 and his next career has given him great enjoyment working for the citizens as City Manager in Cleveland, TX, Uvalde, TX, Giddings, TX and appointed to his current position as City Manager in Willis, TX in 2009.
Hector is a graduate of Leadership Montgomery County in 2011 and is serving on the LMC Board where he serves as the Chairman of the Board. He is a member of the Conroe Rotary Club and serves on the Montgomery County United Way Board. He also serves on the City of Willis Community and Economic Development Boards, the City of Conroe Tourist Council and the Texas City Managers Association. He has been married to Sarah for over thirty-two years and has three daughters and a grandson. He enjoys spending time with his family, shopping and playing golf.
