The April episode of We Are Montgomery spotlights the Blue-Ribbon Award winning Montgomery Elementary School. MES teacher Christina Reuter shares some interesting stories about the school’s Dual-Language Program and brings along some of her students to give first-hand accounts of what it’s like to learn two languages in elementary school. MES Principal Jada Mullins is also a guest this month and reveals why MISD is a great place to work. In addition, MISD Board of Trustee Steve Williams stops by to visit with Dr. Rees and talk about the upcoming election in May. Assistant Superintendent Bobby Morris closes out the show with a glimpse of what’s on the horizon for Montgomery ISD in the near future.
