About The Guest

With a career that has evolved over the last 40 years in insurance and financial services, I have worked both in the retail and wholesale aspects of each respective in-dustry. I have been in involved in the financial services industry for the past 25 years working in The Texas Medical Center assisting medical professionals at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center with their retirement and fi-nancial planning needs. In 1998, I obtained my Certi-fied Financial Planner designation from studies con-ducted at the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Shortly after becoming a CFP, I organized my own fi-nancial planning firm and I continue to work with a wide variety of individuals primarily in the areas of re-tirement planning, income planning, portfolio man-agement, and estate preservation and distribution.
Since being in the financial services business, I have conducted numerous workshops to employees of M.D. Anderson Cancer Center on the importance of financial planning and retirement planning. In addition, I have conducted public seminars on financial planning to corporations (The Executive Suite), women’s groups (Taking Control, A Financial Workshop for Women), and senior citizen organizations (Passport to Retire-ment).
With over 300 clients and over $30 million of client assets under management, the combination of my diversified professional experience, educational background, and proven track record provides me with the necessary skills and expertise to discuss the various issues of financial planning with individuals such as yourself.
